Title: Household Assistant / Nanny (Great Pay, Guaranteed Hours + PTO)

Location: King, North Carolina (27021)
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility for additional hours as needed
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour
Benefits: Guaranteed hours and paid time off (PTO)

About the Family
A warm, active household is seeking a dependable Household Assistant / Nanny to help support a busy home while working alongside a very hands-on stay-at-home mom. While the family has several children, the primary responsibility will be assisting with the youngest children and helping manage the day-to-day needs of the household. Many of the older children are only home on weekends or during holidays.

The family values kindness, teamwork, respectful communication, and a positive home environment. They enjoy spending time outdoors and focus on positive discipline.

Children
Ages: 19, 16, 15, 15, 13, 12, 1 year, and a newborn (9 days old)

• The 19-year-old has Autism and is fairly independent with meals and routines.
• The 13-year-old has Down Syndrome and is typically home on weekends and holidays.

There are also two dogs in the home.

Role Overview
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes initiative. The family is looking for someone who naturally jumps in where needed and helps keep the household running smoothly. While childcare is part of the role, the position is largely focused on household support and management, with primary responsibility centered around the youngest children.

Responsibilities May Include

• Assisting with care for the youngest children
• Planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Driving children to and from school or activities
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Family laundry and dishes
• Putting groceries away and running errands
• Household organization and general tidying
• Sweeping, kitchen upkeep, and picking up toys and daily activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 3 childcare-related references
• Ability to pass a background check
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required
