Household Manager and Nanny Needed

Start Date: August 2026

Children: 5 kids - ages 15, 13, 10, and twin 7-year-olds

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours guaranteed. Housework hours need to take place before 2:45pm, start time is flexible as long as nanny is allotting enough time for household management and getting in their 40 hours. 2:45pm-6/6:30pm is school pickups and transportation for after-school activities.

This active family is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Household Manager/Nanny to support their busy home and five children (ages 15, 13, 10, and twin 7-year-olds). This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a well-run household and enjoys building meaningful connections with children.

The majority of this role centers around household management. The family is looking for someone who can step in each day, assess what needs to be done, and take initiative without requiring daily direction. Responsibilities include full household upkeep such as cleaning, laundry, organizing, and managing day-to-day chores. The ideal candidate will create and maintain an efficient cleaning schedule, coordinating with the mother’s preferences as needed.

While the mother handles dinner preparation, assistance with light meal prep—such as chopping vegetables or thawing ingredients—would be greatly appreciated to help streamline evenings.

In the afternoons, the role transitions into childcare support. Responsibilities include school pickup at 2:45 PM, transporting children to and from after-school activities, and engaging with them in a positive, attentive, and caring manner. A family vehicle will be provided for all child-related transportation.

The family is offering $25/hour and 40 guaranteed hours per week, with a schedule of Monday through Friday. Start times are flexible, provided the nanny allows ample time to complete household tasks before afternoon responsibilities begin. Typical end time is between 6:00–6:30 PM.

Additional details:

• One friendly, well-behaved dog in the home

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys maintaining a clean and organized home, is hardworking with strong attention to detail, and brings a compassionate, engaging presence to childcare. Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
