Job Title: Household Manager & Family Assistant

Location: Heber, UT 84032

Employment Type: Part-time (10-15 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday & Thursday, flexible between the hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: $28–33/hour based on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

  • Maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement for errands)

About Our Family:

We're a busy family of six, four kids ages 7 to 13, with both parents running a business from home. We love the outdoors: mountain biking, boating, and staying active together. But between work demands and kids' activities, the daily household load makes it hard to be as present as we want to be.

We're looking for a proactive, reliable person to take ownership of recurring household tasks — laundry, grocery shopping, errands, and the general overflow that comes with a full house. Someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys keeping a home running smoothly.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is proactive, self-directed, and able to anticipate needs without waiting to be asked. You handle multiple tasks efficiently (laundry, errands, meal prep, household organization) and take pride in being a reliable, professional presence in our home. You're punctual, positive, and solution-oriented, which helps keep things running smoothly when life gets busy.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management & Organization:

  • Create and/or maintain household organization systems
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Change batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc.

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Organizational projects (toys, gear)
  • Occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards)
  • Refresh garage/mudroom/entry

Laundry & Linen Care:

  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry for a family of six
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas
  • Linen rotation

Inventory & Errands:

  • Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies and staples
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, gift shopping
  • Breakdown boxes

Meal Planning & Prep:

  • Support in alignment with family preferences for weekly meal prep, including washing, chopping and organizing ingredients for easy grab and go healthy snacks and prep for dinners.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, including post-meal prep tidy-up

Vendor & Property Oversight:

  • Oversee cleaners/contractors/landscapers
  • Research/coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Seasonal property maintenance
  • Manage outdoor spaces - clean up pool toys

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support:

  • Travel planning and logistics
  • Calendar management (including household schedules)
  • Event and appointment coordination
