Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-orientated Housekeeper to join our team at Gluco Lodge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our residents, staff and visitors. The role is essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents and providing high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change linens and make beds in resident apartments.
- Restock amenities and supplies.
- Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, laundry, and presentation throughout the facility.

Skills:
- Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Good communication skills

Qualifications:

• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Interest in and caring attitude toward the residents.
• Must be able to frequently bend/lift 25-50 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to push and / or pull industrial carpet cleaner and cleaning cart up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Personal Care Regulations or willingness to learn.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
