A highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager is required to lead the housekeeping department in a luxury hospitality environment. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while managing and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards in line with luxury hospitality requirements.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold luxury standards.
- Manage staffing schedules, inventory, and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback, requests, and complaints, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other hotel departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor departmental budgets, labor costs, and resource utilization to achieve operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and housekeeping compliance standards.
- Prepare reports on departmental performance, staff productivity, and operational metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive housekeeping experience in luxury hotels or resorts, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, procedures, and five-star luxury service standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and large teams effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying shifts.
