As a housekeeper for Mirbeau, you’ll be responsible for creating beautifully clean, thoughtfully prepared guest rooms and shared spaces that reflect the elevated standards of our resort and spa. Beyond sanitizing and maintaining rooms during and after stays, you will greet guests warmly, provide helpful information, and embody the professional yet welcoming spirit of our resort. This role is more than cleaning- your work will uphold a flawless, welcoming atmosphere where every detail reflects Mirbeau’s hospitality and our Forbes-rated standards. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently. With purpose and discretion, they understand that thoughtful housekeeping is key to exceptional hospitality. They notice what others overlook, knowing that the smallest touches- like perfectly folded linens and flawless rooms- helps to create a restorative environment where our guests can truly relax and rejuvenate.

Pay Rate: $17.00 to 20.00 per hour plus tips.

Schedule: Sundays & Mondays

Job Responsibilities:

    • Guest Service & Hospitality
      • Greet guests warmly and respectfully, using Forbes and Mirbeau’s language standards
      • Provide courteous, discreet service, with a respect for privacy, friendliness, and genuine hospitality
      • Personalize interactions by using guest names when known, anticipating needs whenever possible
      • Respond to guest needs, complaints, and requests with care, professionalism, and a sense of urgency
      • Always represent Mirbeau’s refined standards with warmth and professionalism at all times
    • Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation
      • Thoroughly clean and reset guest rooms according to Mirbeau and Forbes-rated standards
      • Sanitize and refresh all bathroom fixtures, including tubs, showers, sinks, counters, and toilets
      • Dust and polish furniture, mirrors, artwork, and fixtures; vacuum carpets and mop floors
      • Make beds with precision, and replace amenities, linens, towels and guest supplies
      • Organize guest belongings respectfully in stayover rooms, respecting their privacy and preferences
      • Report and return lost and found items to the Front Desk- labeled with room number and date
      • Ensure all furniture, electronics, and room features are clean, functional, and in proper order
      • Perform a final room inspection and report readiness to Housekeeping Management
    • Supplies & Equipment Management
      • Maintain fully stocked housekeeping carts and linen closets, keeping them tidy and well-organized
      • Use only resort-approved cleaning supplies as directed; maintain all tools and equipment in safe, clean working condition
      • Transport soiled linens to laundry during breaks to assist with laundry turnover
      • Return housekeeping keys, equipment, and supplies to designated areas securely and properly
      • Set up or return rollaway beds and cribs as needed
      • Keep hallway carts and bins neat and unobtrusive to guests
    • Professionalism & Work Ethic
      • Arrive on time, in a clean uniform with name tag
      • Maintain a neat, professional appearance, practicing proper hygiene
      • Follow all housekeeping guidelines and complete cleaning tasks in a timely, organized manner
      • Complete daily task lists efficiently and thoroughly, with attention to detail
      • Adapt to changing priorities with flexibility and focus
      • Report safety concerns, unusual room conditions, or maintenance needs to leadership immediately
    • Team Communication & Collaboration
      • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, leadership, and other departments
      • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by the resort
      • Share relevant guest feedback and/or operational concerns with management, as appropriate
      • Support fellow team members in maintaining the pace, standard and flow of daily operations
      • Support a positive and productive work environment through helpfulness, professionalism and accountability
      • Perform additional tasks and/or support other departments as requested

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:

    • Experience & Education
      • Previous hotel or resort housekeeping experience preferred
      • Ability to quickly learn job responsibilities with minimal training
    • Physical Requirements
      • Must be in good physical health
      • Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
      • capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs safely and regularly

      • Must understand and be able to communicate in English- both verbal and written- as required for guest interaction and team collaboration
      • Must follow all Forbes and Mirbeau language standards when interacting with guests
