Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This position is essential in providing a high standard of service in hospitality settings, including hotels and residential properties. A background in industrial cleaning or custodial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure a pristine environment.
• Execute floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and standards for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
