Housekeeper

Schedule - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6am - 2pm - 22 hours/week.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our senior living community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our residents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, resident apartments, and facilities according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care techniques
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris
• Handle waste disposal and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning or deep sanitation when required

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred (hotel experience, senior living cleaning, custodial experience)
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and general housekeeping practices
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated shifts
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; punctuality is essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
