Private Educator & Full-Charge Nanny | Beverly Hills

The Family

We are an organized, engaged household in Beverly Hills seeking a high-level Private Educator to partner with us in the development of our two daughters (2.5 years and 6 months). We view the home as a primary learning environment and are looking for a professional who treats "play" as the essential work of childhood.

The Role

This is a Full-Charge position for a proactive professional who balances pedagogical expertise with nurturing care. You will have autonomy over the girls' daily rhythms, ensuring a seamless blend of structured learning, sensory exploration, and attentive daily management.

Schedule & Employment

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (occasional evenings/weekends by mutual agreement).
  • Employment: W-2.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pedagogical Leadership & Developmental Play

  • Staggered Development: Focus on one-on-one infant milestones (motor skills, language, sensory work) while the toddler is at part-time preschool.
  • Preschool Partnership: Support with preschool drop-offs/pickups and provide "after-school" enrichment that builds on her classroom learning.
  • Language Rich Environment: Actively "narrate, sing, and teach" throughout the day to support rapid language acquisition and social-emotional intelligence.
  • Community Engagement: Plan and lead purposeful outings to local parks, libraries, and classes.

2. Full-Charge Nutrition & Health

  • Meal Management: Plan and prepare fresh and nutritious meals for both children.
  • Infant Feeding: Manage the introduction of solids (e.g., Baby-Led Weaning) and monitor for any sensitivities.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine environment in child-related areas, including bottle sterilization and kitchen cleanup after meal prep.

3. Household Partnership & Daily Care

  • Total Care: Execute all physical care, including bathing, diapering, and dressing.
  • Organization: Manage the girls’ laundry and ensure nurseries and play zones are "reset" daily to maintain a calm, curated environment.
  • Sleep Hygiene: Maintain consistent nap schedules.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in high-end private homes or as a Lead Teacher in a reputable preschool and 2+ years simultaneously caring for an infant and toddler.
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license with a clean record and comfortable with swimming supervision.
  • Qualities: Calm, professional, and reliable; someone who is "easy-going" yet maintains high standards of organization and detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
