Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Coastal Shores Assisted Living Facility
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)

Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Coastal Shores Assisted Living Facility. This role plays a key part in supporting resident well-being by ensuring all living and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
• Change linens and make beds according to facility standards
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in accordance with infection control guidelines
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate department
• Follow proper procedures for handling laundry, including washing, drying, and folding linens and resident clothing (if applicable)
• Adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
• Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a welcoming environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, hospitality, or senior living preferred
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive, respectful attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–30 pounds regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Work Environment:

• Indoor setting within an assisted living facility
• Interaction with residents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
