Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring.
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
• Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to requests for additional cleaning or special tasks from residents or guests.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and maintained properly.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling or training new team members.

Experience

• Proven custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Prior hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service principles to ensure a positive interaction with residents or guests.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending frequently.
