Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. This position requires someone who can maintain a clean and organized environment while performing light yard work, basic maintenance tasks and occasional lifting. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean all assigned areas including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned.
• Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed. Adhere to OSHA, State and Federal safety standard precaution
• Ensure equipment is clean and safely stored at the end of shift.
• Light Maintenance painting and filling holes.
• Some yardwork pulling weeds and watering plants
• Move or lift furniture and other items as needed (up to 25-50 lbs)
• Communicate effectively in English with supervisors, team members, and owners.

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must to able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be over 18
• Strong desire to care for Elderly
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and carry 25 lbs.
• Must pass a background check

• Hours can vary and may increase as needed.
