Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
• Care for floors through appropriate cleaning techniques including carpet shampooing, floor polishing, and industrial cleaning methods when necessary
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
• Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen management to promote environmental sustainability and operational efficiency
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks with precision and care

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable; familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and the use of commercial cleaning equipment
• Experience working within the hospitality industry or in environments requiring high standards of cleanliness is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to custodial work
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is advantageous but not required

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
