Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and products
• Execute residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold high standards of hygiene
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance
• Ensure proper sanitation protocols are followed during all cleaning activities to promote a safe environment for residents or guests
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling routines for maximum efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of various cleaning methods including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients or guests
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
• Experience with hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with safety standards related to sanitation and cleaning chemicals
• Nice-to-have skills include cooking skills for meal preparation assistance or light household chores related to hospitality services
