Housekeeper and Personal Assistant

Job Overview
PAY WILL VARY. $500/week is minimum.

I am seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeper (& House-sitter) / Personal Assistant who loves cats. This versatile role combines meticulous residential cleaning with personalized support to ensure a seamless, comfortable, and organized environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the home by tackling a few daily tasks as well as working on larger projects/organizing/running errands.

Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a clean, comfy atmosphere that reflects excellence and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained living space while supporting various personal needs.

House-sitting & complete pet care would also be needed during travel or hospitalization (for ex., a minor surgery.) You would have your own guest bedroom with full bathroom.

Responsibilities (some would be daily, some weekly, some monthly.)

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and floor care.
• Manage some laundry duties, including washing, folding: Bedding, pillows, & blankets / pet beds only.
• Assist with some food prep as needed: Fruit salad maintained, weekly prep items (mostly salads.)
• Maintain sanitation standards through proper use of cleaning supplies and janitorial techniques across bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. I have a large supply area & will provide all supplies needed for housekeeping.
• Provide personalized assistance with errands, appointment scheduling, household organization, etc. Ex.) Possible carriage to medical appointments, very rare.
• Become very familiar with pet-care routine, emergency vet locations, regular vet locations, medications, & individual pet personalities.
• Support waste disposal management (trash is picked up weekly) and clothing/goods contributions to Salvation Army, etc.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping management, and pet care (must love cats!)
• Good cooking skills combined with knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Excellent customer service abilities to anticipate needs and communicate effectively within a household setting.
• Ability to handle laundry processes to include infrequent trips to the dry-cleaners.
• Demonstrated organizational skills for managing household tasks alongside personal assistance duties effectively.
