Housekeeper & Nanny for 1-Year-Old

Job description:

We are a loving family seeking a reliable, caring Housekeeper/Nanny to help care for our 1-year-old and support us with light household tasks. The ideal candidate is warm, attentive, organized, and experienced with infants/toddlers.

Responsibilities

Childcare (Primary Duty):

• Provide attentive, loving care for our 1-year-old

• Prepare simple meals/snacks as needed

• Change diapers, assist with nap routines, and maintain a consistent daily schedule

• Engage in age-appropriate play, reading, and developmental activities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times

Housekeeping (Secondary / Light Duties):

• Light tidying of common areas, nursery, and play areas

• Loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping kitchen counters/table after meals

• Light laundry related to the child (and occasional family laundry if time allows)

• Simple organization and general help keeping the home neat

Schedule

• Hours: 4–6 hours per day

• Days: Monday–Friday

• Flexible Daytime hours (7am-12pm or 12pm-5pm schedule)

Qualifications

• Background check required

• 3 references required

• First Aid / CPR certification required

• Prior experience with infants/toddlers required

• Strong references from previous families/employers

• Non-smoker

• Clear Background Check Report

• Comfortable with light housekeeping

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

• Reliable transportation and punctuality are very important

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience: $15-20/hour
