Housekeeper - Senior Living Community

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. This role supports the daily operations of our community by ensuring resident apartments, common areas, and service spaces are cleaned according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as halls, lounges, and dining spaces
  • Perform routine tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
  • Change linens, make beds, and assist with light laundry as needed
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
  • Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
  • Respect resident privacy, personal belongings, and community policies
  • Maintain infection control and follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task
  • Professional, courteous demeanor with residents and guests
  • Ability to bend, lift, and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Prior housekeeping or senior living experience is helpful, but not required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to ensure resident safety, follow instructions, and meet community standards
