Housekeeper/Back of House Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Back of House Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, and other designated areas. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house spaces, including staff kitchens, storage rooms, laundry areas, and utility closets
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless environment
• Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, cleaning products, and amenities to ensure readiness for guest needs
• Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning projects or equipment maintenance
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to hospitality or industrial settings
• Knowledge of floor care methods including polishing and carpet cleaning
• Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning products is advantageous
• Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles
• Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
