Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant - $19.00/Hour

The Trail Inn located in Eden Valley, MN is a 13-room motel and is looking to add an additional housekeeper to our team. Pay starts at $19.00/hour and we have part-time available, with the potential for full-time.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure the highest standards of hospitality. Your commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and laundromat, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure all linens and towels are laundered, folded, and stocked appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Follow established protocols for safety and sanitation to uphold health standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.

Schedule:

• Shifts begin at 9:00 AM daily
• Some weekend availability is required
