Job Summary:

The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas. The ideal person for this position has senior living housekeeping experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining rooms, maintaining housekeeping sanitation requirements.
• Emptying trash.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in compliance with infection control standards.
• Sweeping/vacuuming and mopping hard floors.
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools.
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Reporting any necessary repairs .

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience in Cleaning and Sanitizing rooms to varying levels to meet requirements. Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment. Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate customer needs. Ability to Take Criticism, Listening Skills to make sure that they are meeting the needs of their clients for cleanliness and sanitation standards. Good Customer Service skills, Reliability, Organizational skills, Integrity, Honesty and High Energy Levels.

What We Require:

• Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Health Screening

3pm to 7 pm, 5 days a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
