Housekeeping

Pay: $19 per hour

This position will require cleaning locker rooms, both men's and women's.

Schedule:

• Temporary Full-Time: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• Temporary Part-Time: Mid-day approximately 25 hours per week
• Part-Time: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 1 or 2-10 PM.

These positions do require cleaning bathrooms, men's and women's locker rooms, and tending to laundry (towels).

Job Duties:

Major duties include cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, banquet rooms, dining room, tennis , fitness, and aquatics areas. Additional duties include laundry service for towels and floor care.

• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Follow all The Woodlands Club safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience is a plus!
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds, perform bending, stooping, folding, and reaching.
