Housekeeping Aide

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility in accordance with infection control standards and facility policies. This role plays a key part in creating a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Follow established infection control and safety procedures
• Remove trash and transport soiled linens according to facility guidelines
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
