Housekeeping Attendant

Job Qualifications

  • Age: Preferably between 18 and 40
  • Education: Minimum GCSE O-Level or equivalent
  • Language: Fluent in English (local language is an advantage)
  • Experience: Previous Housekeeping experience is an advantage

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • General Operations
  • Report to work on time, well-groomed, and in proper uniform
  • Attend daily briefings and departmental meetings
  • Be familiar with resort events, promotions, and emergency procedures
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • Follow daily task schedules and timelines
  • Clean and prepare assigned villas according to department standards
  • Ensure occupied and vacant villas are serviced on time
  • Replenish minibar, amenities, and supplies as required
  • Handle guest laundry according to standards
  • Support deep cleaning, preventive maintenance, and special projects
  • Maintain clean and organized pantries and storage areas
  • Report damages, missing items, and equipment issues promptly
  • Handle lost and found items according to policy
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
  • Assist in other housekeeping areas when required
  • Follow safe handling and storage of equipment and linen
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor
  • Financial & Administrative
  • Support cost control and budget targets
  • Follow purchasing and store requisition procedures
  • Practice energy-saving and cost-efficient measures
  • Avoid overtime without prior approval
  • Training & Development
  • Participate actively in training and team activities
  • Support orientation and learning programs when required
  • Lead by example with a positive and professional attitude
  • Policies & Procedures
  • Follow company grooming and conduct standards
  • Comply with all hotel policies and procedures
  • Understand and reflect the organization's mission and values
  • Handle guest complaints professionally
  • Practice proper communication and telephone etiquette
  • Act ethically and in line with local laws

  • Maintain high personal hygiene standards
  • Follow all health, safety, and fire procedures
  • Report hazards and unsafe conditions immediately
