Housekeeping Attendant

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
• Maintain high standards of floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency
• Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks to promote a safe environment for yourself and others
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards
• Support team efforts in deep cleaning projects and special event preparations as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
• Previous hotel or custodial experience demonstrates familiarity with hospitality standards
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
• Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
