OVERVIEW


At Rosewood AMAALA, we craft exceptional journeys guided by our philosophy of Relationship Hospitality and A Sense of Place.The Housekeeping Coordinator is the central communication and administrative hub of the Housekeeping department, ensuring seamless coordination of daily operations. This role supports the delivery of impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and personalized service, contributing to a refined and intuitive guest experience within an ultra-luxury environment.In a pre-opening setting, the role is instrumental in establishing systems, SOPs, and operational efficiencies that will define the Housekeeping function.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, task allocation, and priority management.
  • Maintain real-time room status updates in alignment with Front Office to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
  • Act as the central liaison between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure prompt resolution of requests.
  • Track and follow up on guest preferences, special requests, VIP requirements, and maintenance issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in developing and implementing Housekeeping SOPs, policies, and service standards aligned with Rosewood brand expectations.
  • Assist in setting up systems for room status tracking, inventory control, and inter-departmental communication.
  • Coordinate mock-up room preparations, snagging follow-ups, and readiness checks prior to opening.
  • Participate in recruitment coordination, onboarding logistics, and training scheduling for Housekeeping associates.
  • Contribute to creating a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and service personalization from day one.
  • Maintain accurate records including room discrepancy reports, lost & found logs, guest request tracking, and daily productivity reports.
  • Prepare and manage departmental reports, schedules, and documentation with precision and confidentiality.
  • Monitor inventory levels of linen, amenities, and supplies, coordinating with procurement and stores as required.
  • Ensure all documentation reflects audit-ready standards in line with luxury hospitality benchmarks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all housekeeping-related communication, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate guest requests with a strong sense of urgency and personalization, reflecting Rosewood’s commitment to intuitive service.
  • Support delivery of bespoke guest experiences by ensuring preferences are communicated and executed flawlessly.
  • Assist in managing associate schedules, attendance tracking, and shift coordination.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new associates, ensuring alignment with Rosewood culture and values.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful environment that reflects the diverse and inclusive culture of AMAALA.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Housekeeping or Rooms Division within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and hotel systems (Opera, HotSOS, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
