As a Porter/Houseperson, you will

• Work side-by-side our Housekeeping team to ensure a spick-and-span facility
• Handle guest clean concerns and respond for resolution
• Be responsible for cleaning corridors, guest areas, parking lots and service areas
• Coordinate with our maintenance team for repairs
• Stock supplies
• Assist Housekeepers and the Front Desk in guest requests and deliveries
• Clean and tidy our restrooms
  
  

Essential Elements

The cleanliness of our facilities of the utmost importance at our hotels. It takes a team of dedicated individuals to accomplish this every day, and as the Porter/Houseperson, you are a huge part of our clean team. Successful candidates must be strong team players. At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.

Education & Experience

No formal education is required. High school diploma or equivalent and previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred. Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards is a plus.

Physical

Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping, including ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods; and frequently bend, stoop, and reach. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work with cleaning products.
