Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
• Ensure housekeeping staff adhere to established cleaning protocols, floor care procedures, and safety standards.
• Identify areas needing improvement or repair and coordinate with maintenance teams for prompt resolution.
• Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper handling and inventory management.
• Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping team members to maintain high standards of hospitality and custodial work.
• Document inspection results accurately and report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
• Support training initiatives related to janitorial techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and housekeeper management best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hotel or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and surface maintenance.
• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in housekeeping management or supervisory roles.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness issues quickly.
• Effective communication skills to provide clear feedback and coordinate with team members.
