Housekeeping Manager

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our hospitality environment. In this vital role, you will ensure that all guest areas, staff spaces, and operational facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality excellence. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service, uphold sanitation protocols, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and guests. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel or facility areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and specialized cleaning zones
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, floor care quality, and adherence to health standards
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes to ensure operational readiness
  • Lead efforts in industrial cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as needed to maintain pristine environments
  • Foster a culture of hospitality excellence by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within hospitality or industrial settings
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, safety protocols, and sanitation regulations
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, inventories, and quality control measures
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with industrial cleaning or specialized custodial tasks is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
