Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring timely and thorough service.
  • Manage and train housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.
  • Develop cleaning schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations across all housekeeping functions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in hospitality or janitorial services with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial procedures.
  • Management skills to coordinate teams effectively and foster a motivated work environment.
  • Experience in hotel housekeeping management or commercial cleaning environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules, manage inventories, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for training staff and collaborating with other departments.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and health regulations relevant to hospitality cleaning operations. Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
