Housekeeping (Slovenia)

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitizing: Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and sometimes hallways, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing furniture.
• Bed Making & Linen: Change bed linens, replace towels, and ensure beds are made according to hotel standards.
• Restocking: Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, tea, beverages, and snacks.
• Guest Service: Respond to guest requests for extra pillows, towels, or other items promptly and courteously.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, burnt-out lightbulbs) to the relevant department.
• Security & Privacy: Maintain guest privacy and security, and follow all hotel policies.
• Cart Management: Prepare and stock housekeeping carts with necessary linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.

Typical Requirements:

• Ability to work efficiently and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
