The Housekeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our showroom, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our valued customers. The dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards will contribute to the positive impression our showroom makes on visitors and help drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Showroom Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the furniture showroom are consistently clean, tidy, and well-organized, including display areas, furniture pieces, and customer lounges.
Dusting and Polishing: Regularly dust and polish furniture pieces, shelves, displays, and other surfaces to keep them looking pristine and attractive to customers.
Vacuuming and Floor Care: Perform regular vacuuming and floor care duties to ensure carpets and floors are free from dust, debris, and stains.
Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean and polish glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows to provide a clear view of displayed furniture and maintain a bright atmosphere.
Trash Disposal: Responsible for proper waste management and trash disposal, ensuring all trash bins are emptied and maintained regularly.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying management when supplies need replenishment.
Support Event Setup: Collaborate with the showroom team to assist in setting up and dismantling furniture for special events, sales, or promotions.
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damage, or irregularities in the showroom promptly to the management team.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for both customers and staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner, preferably in a retail or showroom setting.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment usage.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of continuous standing, bending, and lifting.
Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during special events if required.
