Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Team Management
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff.
- Monitor performance and provide guidance, training, and support.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities and updates.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure all rooms, offices, and public areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
- Inspect work areas regularly to verify quality and adherence to standards.
- Manage laundry services, linen inventory, and housekeeping supplies.
- Guest & Client Service
- Respond promptly to guest or client requests and complaints.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., front office, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain discretion and professionalism, especially in VIP or sensitive environments.
- Administration & Reporting
- Prepare duty rosters and schedules for housekeeping staff.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, supplies usage, and staff attendance.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on corrective actions.
- Compliance & Safety
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment use.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies.
