Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Assign duties, prepare duty rosters, and manage staff attendance.
  • Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members.
  • Ensure proper use and control of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up with Engineering for timely resolution.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel environment.
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Housekeeping (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the UAE hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS (OPERA)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
