Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. In this role, you will lead and approve daily housekeeping operations, ensure high-quality floor care, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, floor care, and janitorial tasks, ensuring all areas meet established standards of cleanliness and safety
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure quality control
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; request orders as needed to maintain stock levels
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, custodial practices, and equipment handling
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment

Experience

• Proven experience in quality housekeeping or custodial supervision
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment, supplies, and safety protocols for industrial or large-scale cleaning operations
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of housekeeping staff
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence
• Prior experience overseeing housekeeping operations in commercial, residential or similar setting is highly preferred
