Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure exceptional cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring accountability, productivity, and quality performance.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces daily to ensure cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
  • Ensure VIP and loyalty member rooms are prioritized, prepared, and inspected prior to guest arrival.
  • Maintain key control systems and ensure proper handling of keys and assignment sheets each shift.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service issues.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members; provide ongoing feedback to support performance and development.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate daily assignments with Room Attendants and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Identify and address quality deficiencies; ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
  • Inspect housekeeping carts and storage areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels.
  • Ensure show rooms are prepared and maintained to standard daily.

Supportive Functions

  • Assist with guest inquiries and service recovery as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and security procedures.
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, PMS systems, etc.).
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Ability to handle guest and employee concerns with professionalism, patience, and tact.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred to effectively communicate with team members and guests.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily indoor work environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion.
  • Continuous communication and visual attention to detail required.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
