Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, floor care, and linen management
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance
• Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels for peak times while maintaining quality standards
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive resolution that enhances guest satisfaction
• Enforce safety procedures related to janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks to maintain a safe working environment

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar settings
• Strong background in cleaning techniques, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services
• Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and janitorial best practices
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in custodial or janitorial roles preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and hospitality environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively
