Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of hospital rooms, wards, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
- Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to housekeeping staff.
- Address and resolve housekeeping-related complaints or issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the infection control team to implement best hygiene practices.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and ensure proper usage and availability of materials.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and daily operational reports.
- Work closely with hospital administration, nursing staff, and facility management.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requirements and urgent situations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Roaster Management, Strong Supervisory & Team Management skills.
- Knowledge of hospital housekeeping standards and infection control practices.
