Housekeeping Supervisor (Supervisor to Janitor & Porter)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of hospital rooms, wards, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
• Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance to ensure efficiency and quality service.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to housekeeping staff.
• Address and resolve housekeeping-related complaints or issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the infection control team to implement best hygiene practices.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and ensure proper usage and availability of materials.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and daily operational reports.
• Work closely with hospital administration, nursing staff, and facility management.
• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requirements and urgent situations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Roaster Management, Strong Supervisory & Team Management skills.
• Knowledge of hospital housekeeping standards and infection control practices.
