• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring all standards are met efficiently.
• Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold quality service and safety protocols.
• Monitor cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service that enhances their stay.
• Develop work schedules for housekeeping staff to optimize coverage during peak times while maintaining work-life balance for team members.

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
• Extensive janitorial experience combined with knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality industry practices is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inventory, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
