Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleaning quality, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction levels
• Manage staff schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to optimize productivity
• Oversee laundry operations, ensuring timely and proper handling of linens and uniforms
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; place orders as needed to prevent shortages
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, and janitorial best practices
• Experience with laundry operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest areas
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control inspections
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests in a professional manner
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is preferred
• Bilingual ( English & Spanish ) Preferred.
