Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory compliance. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will also be responsible for interviewing, orienting, and scheduling staff, as well as implementing procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and survey processes

• Interview, orient, and schedule staff for the housekeeping departments

• Develop and implement procedures for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality standards

• Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff

• Participate in weekend manager-on-duty rotation

• Demonstrate a hands-on management style and willingness to assist as needed

Requirements:

• Recent experience in a housekeeping department in a long-term care setting in a supervisory capacity

• Prefer experience in a healthcare environment

• Knowledge of overall operations of all housekeeping equipment

• Familiarity with all products used in both departments

• Knowledge of regulations and survey process as it relates to both departments

• Solid work history

• Team player
