Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel or facility areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
• Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms.
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning schedules during low occupancy periods.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles with a strong background in hospitality or hotel environments.
• Supervising or management experience leading teams in commercial cleaning or housekeeping settings.
• Knowledge of janitorial procedures, laundry operations, and custodial best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
