Housekeeping Supervisor/ Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all occupants. The position would 4-5 days per week, 25-40 hours per week and will require availability on weekends. You'd be responsible for overseeing houskeeping on these days, making boards, inspecting rooms, servicing stayovers and completing any other tasks that may be needed. We are looking for the right person who is responsible and reliable to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and kitchens to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
• Assist with custodial duties including waste disposal.
• Carry out commercial cleaning assignments with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Assist housekeeping manager manage the housekeeping staff and duties

Requirements

• MUST HAVE PRIOR HOUSEKEEPING MANAGEMENT/ SUPERVISOR SKILLS
• Proven experience in housekeeping or related fields is preferred
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and housekeeping practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
