Job Description
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure rooms and apartments meet Marriott Brand
- Standards for cleanliness, presentation, safety, and comfort. Coordinates work activities among departments.
- Conduct detailed room inspections using Opera PMS and document results.
- Participate in the Commitment to Clean & Cleanliness Champion initiatives, continuously improving hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Support the delivery of the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Experience through personalized touches and attentive service.
- Conduct daily team briefings aligned with Daily Packet principles.
- Train associates on Marriott LSOPs (Local Standard Operating Procedures), cleaning techniques, guest interaction, and safety standards.
- Promote a Take Care workplace culture by encouraging teamwork, recognition, well-being, and continuous learning.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
- Prepares reports concerning room occupancy, payroll, and department expenses.
- Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
- Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Records data regarding work assignments, associate actions and prepares periodic operational efficiency reports.
- Assigns associate their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
- Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational.
- Previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting preferred within UAE.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
