Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation with attention to detail
• Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards discovered during cleaning routines
• Utilize residential painting skills when required for minor touch-ups or aesthetic improvements
• Maintain cleanliness standards by following established procedures and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and polishing for various flooring types
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and basic repair reporting processes
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
