Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
• Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain durable and attractive surfaces.
• Carry out janitorial duties like restroom sanitation, replenishing supplies, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including industrial cleaning projects, facilities maintenance tasks, and light repairs when necessary.
• Support residential painting projects or minor touch-ups to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or related fields with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively; familiarity with industrial cleaning tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions comfortably.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
