Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas to guarantee availability at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled times to uphold the highest standards of hospitality cleanliness.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing different types of flooring.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
