Job Summary
Join our dynamic team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites AFA Northgate, as a part-time Houseman, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our facilities are pristine, welcoming, and impeccably maintained. In this vital role, you will support the cleanliness and upkeep of our property, assisting with various custodial and maintenance tasks to create a comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and dedication will help uphold our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, making every guest experience memorable.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets and sinks
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, stairways, and common areas
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department

Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

Please note that this position may involve physical labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

If you have experience in housekeeping management or industrial cleaning, it would be a plus.
