This includes sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash, picking up trash on property, cleaning the pool area, and other duties given by the housekeeping manager and or the general manager.
  • Restocking Supplies: They ensure that the towels in the pool area are replenished, and other amenities in the common areas.
  • Assisting with Laundry: Housemen may assist in the laundry service, which includes sorting, washing, and folding linens.
  • Responding to Guest Requests: They are often the first point of contact for guests needing assistance, such as providing extra towels or addressing maintenance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not necessary
  • Physical Stamina: The role involves physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and performing cleaning tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests and other staff members.
