Job Summary
The Housing and Support Officer will assist the Income and Housing Team Leader and Housing Officers with the intensive housing management of supported living services in the UK and all
related administrative tasks and responsibilities.
Basic Job Duties
Intensive housing management duties
1. Conduct virtual property visit inspections with Housing Officer using 3cx video to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
2. Liaise with maintenance team to ensure all arrangements have been made for repairs and maintenance
3. Review statement of accounts and provide update to housing officers so it can be addressed during engagements after property visit inspections.

5. Respond to tenant complaint and resolve conflicts between tenants working with social care provider
6. Monitor incidents on e-ops and ensure it is escalated to housing officer if face-to-face interventions required.
7. To support housing officers to raise F360 for warnings and evictions as directed by the management
8. Ensure all support plans and risk management plans have been completed and reviewed for each of the tenants you are responsible for.
9. Liaise with social care providers and staff to assist with providing documentations and certificates to comply with health and safety regulations and requirements.
10. Assist housing officers and social care providers with all local authority inspections including HMO visits, CQC inspections and non-regulated council inspections. This is by providing all relevant information and documentations of compliance to evidence work carried out by Regent Housing Ltd
11. To coordinate services between social care provider and tenants which include scheduling appointments and provide information required by tenants.
12. To support housing officers to raise F360 for warnings and evictions as directed by the management.
13. To maintain tenants records and on e-ops system with up to date information
14. To liaise with social care provider and management about property inspection reports and ensure it’s closed within timescales given.
15. Validating closed PVR reports and ensure all necessary evidence are saved and recorded. Ensure this is complied with company standards.
16. Support housing officers to raised maintenance tickets following property visit inspections and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion according the targets
17. To complete move in and out process with housing officers and all paperwork saved in tenant’s folder and on e-ops.
Housing Support
18. To assist with paperwork related to housing support and care including benefit related forms or funding, assist with filling out forms and submitting paperwork
19. Conduct virtual check ins with tenants to assess their wellbeing and provide support to follow up actions including rooms checks,
20. Provide support by regular check-ins via phone or video call or providing resources and support for mental health and wellbeing including easy read documents
21. Provide guidance and support around budgeting and cleaning to maintain tenancy and license.
22. Work with tenants to develop repayment plans and manage tenants’ accounts.
23. Contact relevant stakeholders including care team, social worker, mental health professionals via email or phone to address issues and concerns with a specific tenant and tenancy management.
24. Attend professionals meeting where required including meeting with social care provider to discuss specific tenant issues
25. Liaise with appointee or next of kin in relation payments including miscellaneous invoices
26. Contact healthcare providers including GP and mental health professionals for benefit support including council tax and other relevant supporting letters
27. To update and review risk management plan as and when needed especially after each incident raised on e-ops. This is to ensure plans can be put in place to reduce and prevent the risk of eviction
28. Develop and implement support plans by working with housing officer, social care provider to review tenant’s needs, identifying goals, and developing strategies to achieve those goals
29. Provide all relevant supporting documents to the income team to ensure benefit claims are made.
30. To assist housing officer in every aspect of recordings including engagement notes, reviews, actions and all other administrative tasks.

Previous experience
1. Excellent telephone manner
2. With at least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role; or with 1 year or more experience in a similar role.
3. Good knowledge and understanding about needs of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities
4. Able to think logically and follow set procedures and processes.
5. Process oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.

Education Required:
Educated to bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent. Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
