Location: Arbor Lodging Corporate Office, West Loop, Chicago, IL (onsite)

Summary:

As an HR Administrator at Arbor Lodging, you will play a crucial role in supporting our human resources department. You will assist with various HR functions and ensure smooth operations related to employee administration and compliance.

This position will be located onsite in the Chicago Corporate Office in West Loop.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process payroll and benefits administration tasks in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in organizing employee training and development programs.
  • Coordinate HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal regulations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
